Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, recently took to X to share exciting news about a potential new crypto ETF launching next year. This change is refreshing in many ways, as it paves the way for cryptocurrency adoption to diversify in many ways.
Per Balchunas, 2025 can be a monumental year for crypto ETFs, as firms may soon launch new crypto ETFs for investors to explore and interact with. Balchunas outlined how ETH combo ETFs could be one of the highlights of 2025, followed by Litecoin ETFs making their way into the market.
Balchunas later shared how Hbar, XRP, and Solana ETFs also have a strong possibility of launching next year.

Balchunas shared another striking analysis, adding how Bitcoin ETFs may double over in a few years, outpacing gold ETFs in the long term.
The analyst streamlined how the soaring popularity of Bitcoin ETFs may triple its size in the near future, ultimately overpowering gold ETFs.
“IMO, highly noteworthy comment today from @JSeyff & @EricBalchunas… “Bitcoin ETFs can *triple* the size of gold ETFs long term. US gold ETFs are currently at approx $125 billion. Spot BTC ETFs nearing $120 billion. Sounds wild, but I agree. Could be even more.”
